Tinder was born in the US through a campus influencer programme that saw it spread like wildfire. But times have changed since then and Tinder was being seen as a hook up app that students weren’t proud to have on their phones.
Our solution lay in making Tinder synonymous with championing single life and the opportunities it presents… making Tinder the gateway to new experiences for this life living generation.
We created an ‘always on’ programme, punctuated with flagship moments in 25 of the UK’s most influential Universities, delivered on campus and social media by our team of 50 swiping student superstars, recruited from our tastemaker network.
Activity included
- Support of some of the biggest campus and society events in every Uni
- In product competitions to win epic adventures from festival road trips to meeting Lewis Capaldi
- Tinder campus events including the ‘Dare To Do More’ VR tour and the ‘Embrace Your Pattern’ phone case creation station
- Tactical drops of highly sought after Tinder merch amongst influential students, groups and events

- Our 50 Tinder SBA’s recruited a black book of social influencers in every Uni to get behind local Tinder events and in product comps
- A curated student media buy campaign for our biggest campaigns including outdoor and key student digital
- Our SBA’s were trained and tasked with creating super shareable and engaging content from their locally supported event
