Sziget Festival 2024

With finance far from a youth audience's mind at a music festival, we gamified Sziget with a treasure hunt mechanic to organically integrate Revolut into the festival world.

Together, we created the Revolut Play-TM—a futuristic vault filled with prizes, leveraging the youth's appetite for side quests. Attendees embarked on a quest across the festival grounds, searching for, securing, and entering hidden PIN codes to win rewards like VIP packages, backstage passes, and Sziget 2025 tickets, positioning Revolut at the core of their festival adventure.

The activation featured interactive elements such as the Play-TM, a modern twist on traditional ATM machines, now reimagined as a treasure trove for festival-goers. Brand ambassadors roamed the festival with large placards displaying time-sensitive PIN codes in different zones, while stage screens and social channels leaked additional PINs, sparking widespread participant engagement. Those without a PIN could uncover hidden codes on LED screens at the Revolut Vault, keeping the excitement high throughout the event.

The activation attracted over 5,000 participants in six days, distributed nearly 10,000 cards, and handed out 4,400 merchandise items. Social channels buzzed as PIN codes were leaked, with 36 winners unlocking the ultimate Sziget adventure, solidifying Revolut as a must-visit at the festival and capturing Gen Z's attention.
