HIVE SOUNDS
In a bid to integrate Bumble into key student moments across the UK, we launched 'Hive Sounds', an all-female music tour that transformed the biggest student parties and university events into hubs of interaction.
Capitalising on the best university events and student venue favourites, we brought Bumble to life through activations, sponsorships, and on-the-ground SBA and society guerrilla takeovers.
We pioneered headline sponsorships of renowned student venues, delivering immersive takeovers featuring decor, giveaways, and DJs, with a special focus on spotlighting underrepresented female DJs.
During terms 1 and 2, we executed 340 Bumble activations, creating a non-stop calendar led by 38 SBAs and 27 societies. These teams supported events ranging from house parties and socials to libraries and talks, helping students connect and fall in love with dating. Sponsorships elevated student experiences with bespoke merchandise drops, a Bumble-branded sound system, and major giveaways, including a trip to Paris.
The campaign reached over 70,000 students, distributed 30,000+ pieces of Bumble merchandise, and firmly embedded Bumble into university culture.
